‘The good old days!’

It used to drive me mad when I was ‘young’ and my mum would go on about the ‘ good old days’.  Now I’m doing the same! Has this always been the case through history? Did stone age parents tell their children about the  good old days?

As a young child I played for hours with toy trolls, making a house out of a shoe box for them. Watching cartoons on tv in black and white and setting up armies of plastic soldiers on the floor. Looking back life seemed so simple, but I can’t say it was better, just different.

I often hear our customers reminiscing whilst browsing the Market, it’s always fond memories! I think we like to forget the ‘bad’ bits.
